Returns Policy
Return Period
You have 14 days from the date of delivery to return items for a refund or exchange.
Eligible Items
Items must be returned in their original condition:
- Unused and unworn
- In original packaging (if applicable)
- With all tags and labels attached
- With proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)
Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned:
- Personalized or custom-made items (unless defective)
- Items damaged by misuse or normal wear and tear
- Items returned after the 14-day return period
- Items without proof of purchase
How to Return an Item
- Contact Us: Email us at megan@mbdesigns.com.au or use our contact form with your order number and reason for return.
- Receive Authorization: We'll send you a Return Authorization (RA) number and return instructions.
- Package Your Item: Securely package the item in its original packaging (or suitable alternative) with the RA number clearly visible.
- Ship the Item: Send the item to the return address provided. We recommend using a tracked shipping service.
- Receive Refund: Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll process your refund within 5-7 business days.
Refunds
Refund Processing
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
- Processing time: 5-7 business days after we receive your return
- Bank processing time: Additional 3-10 business days depending on your bank
Refund Amount
You will receive a full refund of the item price, excluding:
- Original shipping costs (unless item is defective or incorrect)
- Return shipping costs (customer's responsibility unless item is defective)
Exchange Policy
We're happy to exchange items for a different size, color, or style (subject to availability).
- Exchanges must be requested within 14 days of delivery
- Items must be in original condition
- You'll be responsible for return shipping costs
- If the exchange item costs more, you'll pay the difference
- If the exchange item costs less, we'll refund the difference
Faulty or Defective Items
If you receive a faulty or defective item, we'll cover all return shipping costs and provide a full refund or replacement.
Please contact us immediately with:
- Photos of the defect
- Order number
- Description of the issue
We'll arrange a return label and process your refund or replacement promptly.
Wrong Item Received
If you receive the wrong item, please contact us immediately. We'll:
- Arrange for the correct item to be sent
- Provide a prepaid return label for the incorrect item
- Process your order at no additional cost
Australian Consumer Law
Our returns policy is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
